ENG: I’m very interested in fashion (as you all probably already know). Kind of consiquental that I’m eagerly awaiting all the fashion weeks coming our way as we go along. Sadly I hadn’t had the chance to attend a show in real life, but still give my best to stay updated online. From 10th to 12th August I of course was in full cry after the shows in Copenhagen. Not only for myself, but also to be able to present you my highlights for Spring/Summer 2017 today.
Baum und Pferdgarten showed flowing fabrics in blue, auburn and more neutral tones while mixing pyjama vibes with office and sporty elements.
The Runway at By Malene Birger was full of models in monochramtic looks and new interpretations of classic shapes.
Copenhagen’s Design School DSKD showcased a variation of different styles from sleek and minimalistic to ostentatious.
The collection by Elaine Hersby was characterized by classic silhouettes in black and white as well nudes – a very wearable collection with a lot of closet staples.
This season’s Lala Berlin collection was quite futuristic and lush. They showed us crazy prints and shaps – plus a lot of ruffles!
Lovechild 1979 brought a mixture betwenn fairy and pyjama vibes into my bedroom by showcasing light, flowing and partly shimmering materials.
The Maikel Towadros S/S17 definitely was my favourite. He showed a lot of dark colours and perfectly combined sheer and thick materials with shimmering satin. The trend that showed up as well: Pyjamas!
The looks Mark Kenly Domino Tan showcased this season were clean yet futuristic – the office outfits of our future.
The models on the catwalk at Stasia/Lace by Stasia really did look like fairies. I’m still in love with the girly but still boho silhuettes and styles. (Just imagine me screaming around 10 times: “THIS is the perfect prom dress!”)
